Habermas' Paradigms

I first heard / learned about habermas' paradigms in Family Studies - Human Sexuality that I took with Rob in 2010. Essentially Harbermas has three paradigms

a. Empirical-Analytical - which is more scientific and also the most popular or common view point.  It goes from observation to predictions and then the predictions are used as guidelines in a way - to set rules and control certain things.

b. Situational Interpretive - This one is the objective point of view. Emotions are involved quite a lot - it is called what it means- it interprets situations.

c.  Critical Theoretic - is the political view point (easy way to sum it up)
